Rustic Frame – 5×7 Distressed Barn Wood with Metal Corner Brackets
This rustic frame made from heavily distressed barnwood with an alder inset is one of our best-selling frames. Each is carefully handcrafted, and we’ve embellished this “Park City Series” frame with metal corner brackets to give it a truly unique look. We start with a 1.5″ wide piece of naturally-aged barnwood and hand-distress the edges, then add a 1/2 inch interior molding made of dark walnut-stained alder wood. The finished frame width is 2″ wide, and each accommodates one 5×7 photograph. The frame includes glass and you can order either an easel back (for resting the frame on a table or desk) or a cardboard backing with sawtooth hanger (for hanging the frame on a wall).
Rustic frames look great in a variety of settings, and despite its decidedly “western” look, this frame has the capacity to compliment dozens of different decorating styles. The combination of dark and light woods makes it a good choice for colorful portraits or black and white prints. It is a truly versatile frame.
